Anne-Catherine has more than 20 years of international experience as a recruiter, entrepreneur and professional trainer in both the non-profit and private sectors. She specialises in senior-level appointments for international development or humanitarian organisations, global non-profits, foundations, social businesses and more globally for the “for impact sector”. She has extended experience in talent acquisition, placing leaders in and from the global South. She joined Oxford HR in 2021. Previously, Anne-Catherine worked for Mission Talent in executive search, as an entrepreneur in digital innovation, for a slow fashion social enterprise in Vietnam and as the founder of Allo French.
Anne-Catherine loves to engage with individuals and organisations, taking the time to truly understand them and their needs and, from there, finding the most appropriate leaders to make a difference. She is looking for leaders with the ethics, creativity, skills and experience necessary to “change the world”. She is committed to sourcing high-performing talent, emphasising diversity and inclusion. She has worked with a wide range of INGOs and international organisations (such as MSF, Greenpeace, HI, KfW, Action Against Hunger, Transport&Environment to name a few).
Born Belgian, but having spent half her life overseas, she is used to working across cultures and borders. Apart from short stints in Europe and Asia, since 2003 she has been based in South Africa, along with her husband and two children. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University and ICHEC (economics & international relations), she is fluent in English, French and conversational in German, Dutch and Spanish. When not working you will see her running, cycling or swimming in nature or playing the piano with her children.
