What challenges and opportunities were you facing when growing this team?

The main challenge was recruiting several people at the same time while making sure that I have the right balance in terms of skills and personalities. It all happened at a very exciting time for Reall as we started developing our corporate strategy and working out the best approach to deliver our mission. On a personal level, as a manager and leader of the team, I needed to adapt my preferred ways of working to ensure that the team has the right level of support. This is something I am learning every day in my regular interactions with the team.

How did the collaboration with Oxford HR add value?

The most significant contribution of Oxford HR was the breadth and depth of candidates that we interviewed. This really spoke to the diversity of profiles that I felt was critical for the team success. Oxford HR was very supportive throughout the entire process from initial interviews to recruitment. They were also critical in helping us to navigate post recruitment by discussing candidates progress and recommending solutions.

Tim Brann

Tim started working with Oxford HR in 2018, having graduated with a BSc in Product Design from Brunel University London. Although initially trained as a Product Designer, he has worked on a diverse range of projects across graphic design, 3D installations and website design and development. Tim has a keen interest in design as a tool for positive social change, especially among children's social care, and has pursued this through previous work for the GravityLight Foundation, small not-for-profit startups, and now at Oxford HR.
