Oxford HR was founded in 1995 by Michael Wills who, having worked in organisations like VSO, the Harold Macmillan Trust and the World Bank, experienced first-hand the need for support in finding highly skilled people to work in senior and specialist roles in INGOs, charities and social enterprises. Oxford HR was created to provide them with the best candidates for their senior roles, and this remains our core mission.
We strongly believe that by helping a charity or INGO appoint the right person, we are changing the world, and this desire to make a difference filters through all of our work.
It is for this reason that, over the Summer, we’ve been working on a new look for our brand, and a new improved website. We have loved our globe logo for several years, but we knew that our look did not reflect our energy for finding exceptional candidates or our team’s passion for improving the world – one leader at a time.
We created a shorter tagline that encapsulates what we stand for – WORLD LEADERS – in both senses that we at Oxford HR are world leaders by pioneering executive search for INGOs, and of course our drive to find those who will lead charities around the world.
Our new look involves a new fresher logo, still centred around a globe, and an altogether more colourful feel – with photography from around the World.
The new look has been applied to everything, from our office walls to our candidate packs, it’s a vibrant new look, and for us this has been about more than just a fresh lick of paint – as we approach our 20th birthday, we’re committed to bringing our expertise to search, to find the best candidates for leading roles.
