Core Party Program Manager

Are you a fund-raiser interested in working to further peace in the Middle East while living in a beautiful part of the world? You would be responsible for the continued development, fund-raising, monitoring, reporting and donor relations for the MEDRC Core Party Programme. This programme focuses on capacity building, training and knowledge exchange in the water sectors with and between the Core Parties of the Middle East Peace Process.

Specific initiatives include the provision of scholarships, research support and training in this important sector. This is a senior, but hands-on position and an exciting opportunity to design, develop and deliver an expanded and meaningful programme. The successful candidate will have demonstrated practical delivery in a similar position for a minimum of five years.

Business Development Manager

The Bio-resources Innovations Network for Eastern Africa Development (Bio-Innovate) Program, hosted at the International Livestock Research Institute, is a regional initiative established to support multi-disciplinary and multi-stakeholder biosciences and product-oriented innovation activities in the eastern Africa countries of Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda. The purpose of the Program is to strengthen the link between research, bio-innovation and end users with the aim of initiating and commercializing/deploying innovations for sustainable utilization and integration of the region’s bio-resources for economic growth and development. Phase I of the Program that commenced in 2010 is projected to end in 2015.

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Business Development Manager will provide business development support for technologies and products generated by Bio-Innovate supported projects and facilitate the commercialization processes.

Senior Manager – Monitoring, Learning and Results

Do you have substantial monitoring, learning and evaluation experience? Are you a strong cross-cultural communicator who is passionate about the lives and well-being of girls?

Girl Hub seeks a Senior Monitoring, Learning and Results (MLR) Manager to be responsible for establishing and driving a robust framework for monitoring, learning and results for their global initiatives. This role, based within their London headquarters, will work across the organization to ensure engagement in rigorous use of evidence learning.

The role requires a close working relationship to the MLR Director in London and close coordination with all country programme teams. You can expect to travel 25% within Girl Hub operational areas in Rwanda, Nigeria and Ethiopia. Girl Hub is due to start a global evaluation assessment for which the Sr. MLR Manager will manage specific pieces of work feeding into this review.

Country Director, Sudan
