Ana Filipa Fernandes
Ana is a senior HR consultant. She has extensive experience, knowledge and interest in the non-profit and international development sectors. She has worked in Southeast Asia with INGOs, international organisations, government and consultancy firms. She has an understanding in fields such as: water and sanitation; education; health; gender promotion; domestic violence; statistics; justice and public financial management.
Ana is passionate about organisational diagnostics, devising strategies and designing and implementing changes that solve problems in line with legislation, best practice and best fit. She has a proven track record in delivering improvements, and developing the capacity of managers and their staff. She has excellent skills in building effective working relationships in multicultural contexts.
Ana also has an MSc from the University of Manchester in Human Resources Management and Development, with a focus in International Development. She is a Chartered Member of CIPD.
She is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and conversant in French and Tetun (East Timor).
