The Director of Programs provides leadership for the international program team and has management responsibility for staff members working globally (approximately 230). The Director of Programs is accountable for ensuring strategic program development, operational activity and reporting in support of The Foundation Strategic Framework.

Deputy Director General (Research for Development)

The International Water Management Institute (IWMI) is looking for a Deputy Director General who will drive the research agenda within IWMI to address global development challenges for water security and natural resource management. S/he will also play a key role in stimulating ideas and lines of investigation, synthesising and communicating research findings to key stakeholders, including donors and in identifying and guiding the scaling up and scaling out of research findings, profiling IWMI, networking and resource mobilisation.

Risk Manager

The Green Climate Fund is seeking a politically-savvy Risk Manager with significant experience in risk management at a top-tier financial institution. The Risk Manager will be responsible for developing the relevant policies and managing in a manner that reflects all risks to which the Fund is exposed: strategic, credit, market, operational, reputation, regulatory and compliance risk.

The incumbent will also be responsible for implementing the Fund’s enterprise risk management approach and monitoring use of resources in consistency with the Fund’s risk appetite, processes, and limits. The role will ultimately be responsible for facilitating the overall oversight of the Fund’s risk management.



Deputy Project Director-Indonesia Country Programme

The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) is seeking a Deputy Director to oversee the implementation of ZSL’s Indonesia Production Landscapes. S/he will have overall responsibility for delivering ZSL’s work in Indonesia, restoring peat forests that have been largely destroyed by fire and working with government and local communities to slow or reverse the gas and climate change effects of deforestation. If appointed, you will be responsible for managing a team of experienced and dedicated in-country staff.

Deputy Director

The Union draws from the best scientific evidence and expertise to advance solutions to public health challenges affecting people living in poverty. They conduct research, provide training and offer technical assistance leading to health solutions for the poor in more than 150 countries each year (Tuberculosis tobacco use, HIV and AIDS, lung disease, non-communicable diseases). Partners include governments, international agencies, civil society and the private sector.Challenge TB (CTB), led by KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation (KNCV), is a USAID-funded 5-year global program to decrease TB mortality and morbidity in high burden countries. An international consortium of leading organisations, including The Union, will be implementing this global programme. The Deputy Director will serve as the second technical liaison (after the CTB Director) with the USAID mission, the National Tuberculosis Program (NTP), Challenge TB country project partners both in country and abroad, as well as with other relevant USAID and the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) implementing partners in DRC.
